Mohamad (Mo) Kasti is currently
the Chief Transformation Officer at University
of South Florida, Health. Mo’s team accelerates
organizations’ success through transformation of
leadership, strategy, process, and culture. The
center has successfully helped many local,
national and international organizations. In
2005, Mr. Kasti innovated the nationally
recognized USF Leadership Institute that
provides creative and practical leadership
development strategies that change the DNA of
effective leaders. As a leader in business
transformation, Mo was previously the Chief
Operation Officer for USF Health that includes
the colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Public
Health, and the USF Physicians Group.
Prior to Joining USF, Mr. Kasti
spent ten years with General Electric Healthcare
Technologies (NYSE: GE), a top Fortune magazine
most admired company and #1 Market Leader in
diagnostic equipment & services. Mr. Kasti
assumed various successful roles in GE from
Sales where he was ranked #1 two years in a row,
to marketing, product development, sales
operations, billing services, and quality. Mr.
Kasti achieved certification as Master Black
Belt (MBB) in Lean Six Sigma and Master Change
Agent (MCA) in Change Management. Before leaving
General Electric, he was part of Performance
Solutions, a Healthcare Consulting division,
where Mr. Kasti helped healthcare executives
improve their organization performance by
transferring industrial best practice in
management and leadership systems, change
management, Lean Six Sigma quality, and
performance improvement.
Before joining GE, Mo worked
with Steris and Amsco Corporation and Summa
Health System in Akron, Ohio. He has a Masters
degree in Biomedical and Clinical engineering
from Case Western Reserve University in
Cleveland, and has earned numerous awards as a
coach, trainer, and speaker on leadership
development. Mo has received numerous management
awards for outstanding performance and holds
